Interestingly, my own path began in much the same way, with a simple curiosity about astrology that eventually led me into years of study, reflection, and self-discovery.

For over five years, I have been studying and practicing astrology, but my journey began with a simple fascination. I often found myself wondering how these massive celestial bodies, so far away from us, could possibly have anything to do with our lives. How could the planets influence our experiences, our path, or even our future???

One of the most memorable shifts in perspective came when I started learning about Surya through astrology. Before that, the Sun was simply a bright ball of light in the sky. But as I studied its symbolism and significance, I began to see it differently. It was no longer something distant and separate from me. Instead, it became a reminder that we are deeply interconnected with the cosmos around us.

The more I studied, the more my perspective began to change. I began to see that we are not isolated individuals moving through the universe on our own. Everything is connected through the same universal power that flows through all of existence. The planets, the stars, nature, and ourselves are all part of a much larger whole.

As my knowledge grew, so did my questions. If the planets influence our lives, does that mean they control us? Are we bound by fate? Do we truly have free will?

These questions led me much deeper than astrology itself. Over time, I came to understand astrology in a very different way. I no longer saw the planets as forces that dictate our lives. Instead, I began to see them as messengers. They reflect cycles, patterns, and timings through which the results of our actions may unfold. The planets are not creating our destiny. Rather, they reveal the patterns that already exist within us. This realization transformed the way I look at a birth chart.

To me, a birth chart is not simply a tool for predicting the future. It is a blueprint of patterns, tendencies, and subconscious impressions that may be influencing our choices and experiences. Some of these patterns support our growth, while others may keep us repeating the same lessons until we become aware of them.

And awareness is where real change begins. I often think of a birth chart as a mirror. A mirror can only reflect what already stands before it. It cannot create an image of its own, nor can it show something that isn't there. In the same way, the planets and zodiac signs do not dictate our lives or take away our free will. They simply reflect the karmic patterns, tendencies, and potentials that already exist within us.

Over time, I came to see the planets not as forces that control our destiny, but as messengers. They are like delivery agents carrying the results of our past actions and bringing them to us at the appropriate time. Whether those results are pleasant or challenging, the planets are not the creators of them. They merely reveal and deliver what has already been set into motion through our own karma.

This understanding transformed the way I approach astrology. Rather than seeing a chart as a fixed prediction of what must happen, I see it as a powerful tool for self-awareness. By understanding our patterns, we gain the opportunity to work with them consciously, make wiser choices, and participate more actively in shaping our future.
